Carlton Bryan took things to a whole other level when he discovered that his side girlfriend was pregnant. According to reports by WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut, Bryan thought up a plot to kill the woman who was pregnant with his child.

Bryan, 23, asked the pregnant victim, Shamari Jenkins, to get an abortion after she broke the news to him. However, Jenkins wanted to keep the baby and was already four months pregnant when Bryan put together a horrible plan. Bryan hired his friend, Matthew Allen Hall-Davis, 24, to shoot and kill Jenkins.

Jenkins was driving her car with Bryan on the passenger side when the shooting occurred. Hall-Davis drove beside Jenkins and begin ringing out shots into the car. Jenkins was shot in the shoulder and the bullet traveled through her body.

Bryan was not hit and went to call 911. Jenkins was rushed to the hospital, but died soon after. On the next day, Bryan arrived at the scene of the shooting where Jenkins’ family and friends held a vigil in memory of her death. He reportedly hugged and greeted Jenkins’ family as if he were in mourning just like the rest of them.

But police soon discovered that Bryan was responsible for the unfortunate death of Jenkins, hiring Davis-Hall to execute the plan on the pregnant woman. During the trial, Bryan revealed that he wanted Jenkins for sexual purposes only and he was intending on staying with his live-in girlfriend whom he already has a child with.

Bryan was convicted in being an accessory to murder and is currently facing life in prison. Hall-Davis was sentenced to 70 years for the murder of Jenkins.

Wow! This story is crazy. The least he could have done was just taken responsibility for his actions, told his girlfriend what happened, been able to father the child that he already has and then father the child that was on the way. But instead he chose to kill the mother of his unborn child, as well as his unborn child, lost his relationship and now the child that he has will live their life without a father.
