Things may have gotten worse for Bobby Shurda, if you can imagine such a thing

In December, Bobby Shmurda‘s whirlwind 2014, which included being discovered on Vine and scoring a record deal and a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 in a span of 3 months, came to a drastic end, when an NYPD sting operation seized several firearms from his Manhattan studio session, resulting in over 25 felony charges for him and his associates, including gun, drug, and attempted murder charges.

While Shmurda’s lawyers are fighting for lower bail and the dropping of charges, Shmurda may be shooting himself in the foot. His alleged girlfriend, Kimberly Rosseau, was arrested and indicted on charges of  promoting prison contraband when she attempted to sneak Shmurda–born Ackquille Pollard–a homemade knife during a prison visit. Rosseau allegedly snuck the weapon into the facility in her bra.

If convicted, Shmurda could get up to 7 years tacked on to his potential prison sentence. As of now, he’s facing 25 years on weapons and narcotics charges.
