General Invitation

We are looking to expand our team to between 12-20 people who are interested in becoming part of a startup. The opportunity is being posted as a "learning opportunity" for the following reasons. 

What we do for you?
WILLS
- We will be paying for you to travel to various networking events
- We will provide you with a training educational tool 
- We will provide you with personal financial advice (i.e, retirement, stocks, etc.) {if interested}
- We will give you numerous marketing items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, coffee mugs, pens, etc.
- We will get you the information you need to be successful.
- We will pay for costs incurred with exception of laptop (preferably) or computer & phone (cellphone preferably). These two are extremely beneficial, but if you do not have them. Please don't think you can't join - we are problem solvers and will find a way to make things work.

MAYS 
- We MAY pay your fees for a gym we have agreement with, and/or a Chicago-based incubator membership fees
- We MAY even though this is listed as "learning opportunity" pay you when the company gets a sum of money, or hire you as an independent contractor, or hire you as part-time/full-time staff member, or give you part ownership in the company. All of it really depends on your level of commitment, what you bring to the table, and how well you work with everyone else.

Why are we not formally hiring because....
- We are promising all of the above and we have no idea what your level of commitment will be.
- We don't know how well you work - or skills you may or may not have
- We don't do an extensive background check - people make mistakes and we are only concerned with excluding certain ones. The following will not be tolerated or accepted into group: currently wanted by law enforcement, previously convicted of murder, rape, sexual assault, theft, or fraud, or who have shown any form of discrimination/hate/violence/prejudice toward another person or animal. Such as color, race, creed, religion, sexual-orientation, age, animal cruelty, etc. 
- We use most, if not all, of the funds back into the business so it can get to a point where all members are hopefully generating substantial money.
- You will learn a lot!
- We are putting trust in you!

What is expected of you?

We will meet for a minimum of 2 hours every other week. Typically it will be once a week. We will try to work with schedules, but if you cant' make it at the normally allotted time {which will be decided when we have our group}. We record each session so you can play back later or we provide options of video/teleconference.

As mentioned earlier - a laptop (preferably but computer will work also), and a phone (cellphone preferably)

To bring passion and drive with an eagerness to learn! Your involvement would be a blend of working on your own and meeting with the dedicated members. We are optimistically looking for a minimum of 6 hours per week including the 2 hour time together, but have enough work for much more. It's really up to you how little or much you can offer. Try to under-estimate and over deliver it will not hurt your chances of selection but improve our trust in you. 

We have a key member of the team available who is actively working M-F 5pm - 12pm and at times until 2-3am. Sat & Sun Almost at all times on and off throughout days. If we find one of you are available during normal business hours and a "Super-Charger" we can spend additional time with you and develop your skills to be the GO-TO person available to assist others during the day. 

It's really up to your level of commitment!

Understandably you still have questions like what exactly is it that we are building, how will all this work, etc. Your reply to this post is for you to tell us a little about yourself (including a way for us to contact you)- what you're looking for - so we can setup one or a few group discussions for us to tell you about who we are, what we are currently working on, what our vision is, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have so you can then make an informed decision as to whether or not you feel this an opportunity is something you would be interested in.
