Okay, so it seems like the Game has completely toned down his hardcore image that he first came out with. This whole song seems to be on some "swag" shit, which is cool, but I never thought I'd see the Game in a video like this. Half the niggas in this video look like weirdos. The track is kinda tight; they flipped the Bone Thugs, "First of the Month" track. And just for the record, that video was way harder than this. And Chris Brown needs to try to stop acting like he's a thug...I mean for real. And they could have invited one of the members from Bone to be on this record.

This really isn't a music video per se, but I know that my nigga Wyzdom fucks with Slaughterhouse, so I threw this new video that they released this week. It's basically a shout out to all their fans, which also gives some secrets into how they market their music through social media. Get out your notebooks and take notes.
Raekwon- The Scroll
This shit was tight. Hands down. Big ups for Raekwon for not being scared to get grimey one time on this video and record. I never know what the fuck he is talking about but he makes it sound so sincere and relevant, so it's almost hypnotic. I fucks with this.
French Montana ft Coke Boys- 9000 Watts
I can't stand this motherfucker. He sound like he's rapping with cotton balls in his mouth. Who the fuck gave this dude a deal? The only reason I even like that other song "Pop That" is because it sounds like the classic Luke record, "I Wanna Rock". I used to watch him rip rappers to shreds on his DVD's back in the early 2000's. It kinda sounds like to me that he doesn't even want to rap like this, he's just trying to corner that market of trap music. I don't believe the hype...
Shawnna ft Chella H- Big and Fat
This video gave me a woody. And it was funny. Not only was comedian Tony Scofield in it, but porn star Jada Fire is in here. Then there is a lot of girl on girl action going on, which is always good eye candy. I didn't even realize that they were both actually spitting bars that are better than most niggas out right now. Pay attention. I love when Chella H says "I'm a high class hoodrat." Lol. I also think Jada Fire's tit popped out at 1:24.
Lupe Fiasco-Bitch Bad
I have mixed feelings about Lupe Fiasco's material a lot of the times. This is because he says what's wrong with everything, but then doesn't offer any solutions. He just kind of smiles with this look on his face like "Yeah, I'm the shit." I'm like, "Nigga, didn't you just hear everything that you just said? What the fuck are you smiling about?" It's like listening to a nigga complain about everything that is wrong, then someone yells "CUT! Good job, Lupe." But this song was a little more original in his approach because he kept it SIMPLE. Good job, Lupe!
Juicy J ft Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz- Bandz A Make Her Dance (Remix)
I didn't even know Juicy J made this record until someone requested it from me. I think this nigga is a lil too old to be making records like this, but that's neither here nor there. This is a good stripper song, but the video SUCKS! I mean, are these niggas gay? They got porn stars promoting BRAZZERS in this video, but I didn't see one lap dance in this entire video. They weren't even interacting with the women! It was like they were too busy trying to be pretty! For a stripper song, this video could have gone a lot harder. The women weren't even doing anything special, and whenever they were, you could only see a shadow. The hottest thing about this video was the chair that Lil Wayne was sitting in between the two lions. Two thumbs down!
Lil Wayne- Dew Weezy Episode 4
I had no idea that they even had four episodes of this. I had been seeing ads around HOODX that just said "DEWeezy" on it, so I figured that Mountain Dew was trying to use Lil Wayne to sell more Moutain Dew in the black community...but I had no idea that they had turned this into a webisode. It's hard for me to take Lil Wayne serious about ANYTHING, but he does seem like he's really trying to do this skateboard thing. He also sounds like a work-a-holic, which is very inspirational to someone like me. So, big ups for this one...
Rick Ross ft T.I.- Bury Me a G
I almost didn't even watch this video til I realized that I had to write this intro...I was just gonna post this shit and not say anything...but I said fuck it and watched it. Then I was very impressed. This video is hood as hell! There was a nigga with one leg...a old nigga who's eyes looked like he was gone...T.I. looks like he done been through some shit...you can see it in his eyes. Ross had bars...nothing wrong with this video at all...could have had a woman or two in it...but I ain't tripping. Big ups!
The Kid Daytona ft Jadakiss-Low
This nigga is like a cross between LL Cool J and classic Jay-Z. I don't know why but I like the way this nigga sounds...Nice flow...nice rhythm...had a few white bitches in this video...Kiss killed it...it was a lot going on in this video...Grown man shit. You don't want to miss this one...
Nas ft Amy Winehouse- Cherry Wine
I was completely blown away by this track and video. It was like a breath of fresh air. This song doesn't sound like anything on the market right now. Nas is truly a different breed of black man. I also think this is why it's hard for me to listen to Lupe Fiasco, because he tries to pull this same sound off, but Nas kills it. You can't duplicate an original. Nas, when I see you, I'm gonna personally thank you for this one...
Styles P- Holiday Any Emcee
I was very disappointed when I saw this video. I fucks with Styles P...ever since his Bad Boy days I fucked with the Ghost...but it seems like he's hustling backwards. I understand keeping it hood, I mean...the name of this website is HOODX...but the production quality on this video looked and sounded like it was from the eighties. I mean...what the fuck were you thinking? Your flow is always tight, but it's time to step up your production value, P. Come on, man...

There was a lot going on in this video...first we had Wood Wizzard getting locked up by the white dude...then we had the girl with the big red titties, Wood Wizzard pimping her, they're working out, getting money, the cope spying on them...the kids...this video is HOODX certified. This video is brilliant. BRILLIANT! I love a video with a story...and this one was no exception. Ace Hood proves that rappers have more personality than just talking shit and flashing money. I thought the entire intro was genius...and the waitress really made me forget that I was watching a video. It felt like movie for a second. Good job on this video!

Okay..this song was tight until Talib Kweli came in...and I normally fuck with Talib, but the tone that he had in this song just seemed off...it was like he was trying to justify and reason why it's okay to get money. We did that all during the early 2000's. Get with the program. If you're "getting to the money", then GET TO THE MONEY...don't be trying to sit around and explain WHY getting to the money needs to be justified. JUST FUCKING DO IT. And he needs to take off that dumb ass hat because it's making his head look big and little at the same damn time...DAMN!

I don't know if it's just me, but it's like...when I listen to a Wiz Khalifa song, it's like eating Chinese food...because five minutes after it's over, I forgot that it even happened. Every time Wiz Khalifa spits, I forget every word that he just said. This song was no exception. And I don't know if it's just the version that I grabbed from YouTube, but this video looks like it got recorded back in 1993. Step your production up!

Jay-Z is a genius. This song is fire! But the video looks like it came out a decade ago. Sorry, Vinnie...but you kinda showed up too late with the whole green screen, words on screen, changing clothes routine. For a song this raw, you could have came a little more harder with the video...it makes the whole song sound like a gimmick. If you just listen to this song without watching the video, you'll see what I mean. And big ups to DJ Premiere, man where the fuck have you been...somebody needs to smack the shit out of you and wake you up out of whatever coma you have been in...because the beats today SUCK! Where the hell is DJ Premiere when we need him?
Ras Kass ft Doc Hollywood-The Great Recession
I saved the best for last...This is by far the best video that I have seen in a long time...I'm amazed that we are only two months away from 2013, and this is the only video out that is displaying images like this. Doc Hollywood needs to be kissing Ras Kass's ass for this one, because he damn near fucked the whole song up...but he got a little ill...This is a dope song with a dope video. Period. Comment below!
