HOODX is the leading presenter of hip hop on television nationwide, and one of the largest in Chicago. We present and incubate work by artists and media-makers who reflect the diversity that surrounds us. HOODX Television programs reach hundreds of thousands of people each year. 

Our main venue, HOODX Television Network offers a public media center, a major contemporary art exhibition space, two performance spaces, a glass-walled TV studio, and artist work spaces.

Some of HOODX's most acclaimed programs include the HOODX Backstage and HOODX Rap Videos.  We also have several path-breaking cable television media initiatives, including Comcast, Cox cable, Verizon, and Time Warner.  HOODX also offers education and other vital programs at HOODX.com and throughout Chicago.
