Overcast is an iPhone only podcast app by Marco Arment, the creator of the popular read-it-later service, Instapaper. Not only is Overcast beautifully designed, it has many features that make the experience of listening to podcasts better all around. Voice Boost can be used to enhance speech, a sleep timer can be set so you can fall asleep listening to your favorite podcasts, and you can download over cellular if you choose to. Smart Speed is also a useful feature for speeding up podcasts without causing any distortion in audio.

While Overcast may not be the most feature-packed podcast app available, it's provides one of the very best experiences. If you don't need iPad support, it's one of the best options

OneCast is the easiest way to find and play any podcast.

Yo. My name's Nathan. I'm a computer scientist working for the world's most outstanding venture capital firm -- Sequoia Capital.

I believe an app should be simple, easy to use and efficient. Looking for a podcast player that encompassed these values, I couldn’t find one. So in my free time, I started building OneCast. I enjoy how easy it is to use and hope you enjoy it too.

You see...I'm a very unique person. I like to think outside the box. That means...sometimes I have to go in my own direction while everyone else is following the herd. Old school tactics of networking and finding like minded people on Facebook are slowly becoming obsolete. People are getting tired of posting their content and less than 10% of their friends can even see it. Facebook and Twitter are slowly becoming tools for corporate businesses, politicians, and entertainers. But the independent start up company has to sow every seed that they plant.
