Cali Boi Tip is an artist from Oakland, California. His music has reflected the journey of many trapped in the cycle of the neighborhood hustle and flow.
His efforts to release his biographic album titled "I" has been exceptional and not without obstacles. Many of Cali Boi Tip earlier recordings have been removed from circulation as they no reflect his ideology of how black men should be represented.
Cali Boi Tip now believes that the black on black violence being represented in the music today is perpetuating the glorification of black destruction, instead of amplifying black excellence, or reaching to teach black unity..
