Los Angeles - How many artists can say they started their first performing group at the age of eight and kept the faith to continue to pursue their dreams into adulthood? Well sassy, young singer, Faith can! Embodying all the characteristics she was named for, Faith has just released her debut track, "Sweet Fantasy." The sizzling single is a prelude to her upcoming EP, set to drop in late October, entitled "Lanmou Island" from Covert Entertainment Soundworks. "Sweet Fantasy," currently climbing the Digital Radio Tracker Global Top 150 Independent Airplay chart, is the turn up after a breakup as Faith details submerging her broken heart in the depths of party life while looking to start love anew.
With musical influences that include Toni Braxton, Brandy and Jhene Aiko to name just a few, Faith hits the scene as an artist fully capable of commanding her own. The talented songwriter delivers vocals that betray any sense of newcomer to the game. The twenty something year old possesses the vocal heat of someone twice her age with a sound that simmers with sensuality.
"I first discovered I could sing when I was in the third grade. From that year on I sang in my school's talent shows each year. Around the age of eight I created a girl group with my best friend and we wrote and sang our own songs to the parents in our apartment building. I was also in a women's acapella choir in high school. I then starting branching out by posting my singing videos across social media. To my pleasant surprise I developed and built a small fan base. The encouragement gave me the motivation to release my music on a broader scale," reveals Faith.
While "Sweet Fantasy" explores the club life, Faith's upcoming EP, "Lanmou Island" aka Love Island, resonates a tropical vibe with up-tempo beats. The tracks explore her searching the island for a long-lost mystery soulmate, hoping to spend an eternity of lovemaking on the beach with him.
