New Music: Chizuko - Cherell Terri - "Got Us" ft King Dreams

Cherell Terri (Born Ashley Cherell Jones), is an American Singer/Rapper/Songwriter from Florence, Alabama. Cherell fell in love with music at the early age of 8, and began singing in school musicals, and plays. It was when her parents over heard her singing “Fantasy” by Mariah Carey, that they knew she had a real talent. Cherell, and her family moved to the Bay Area of California when Cherell was 11 years old, and in the heart of the ‘Hyphy Movement’. She then developed her voice even more, when she joined the youth choir at Solomon Temple in Pittsburg, California, where she sang First Soprano for 6 years. That was followed by performances in talent shows, fashions shows, and community events. Cherell excelled in writing music as well. She went on to win numerous contests for her writing, and poetry.

It was at the age of 17 that Cherell compiled her thoughts and experiences into a song and recorded her first track. Since then, Cherell has been heavily involved in the Bay Area music scene, and has a quickly growing list of collaborations. She has worked with artists such as Paul Wall, Sammy Ghostt, Roblo, Turf Cash, Lucree tha Profit, Breadleonlx, Jay Rozay, Madam T, Cocaine Rico, Youngin Bleu, Gahlo, Chrish Cash, B-Eazy, Jungle Boy, TruNess, E Da Singer, Stephanie Kang, and more. She has now expanded her talents to the LA music scene working with legends like Mc Eiht, MyGuyMars, Focus 3 Dots, and more.
