The strong beautiful voice, adorable innocence and leaderlike confidence now known as recording artist SHAI-LYNN was born Kenya Shailynn Witney, January 1993 in Urbana, Illinois.
SHAI-LYNN has been singing and performing on stage since the age of 2, which includes traveling the country as a youth singing gospel with the group "STL New Generation"  [performing in front of audiences as large as 30,000 people].
At age 22 - SHAI-LYNN released a music video to the single Time in April, 2015 as her solo introduction.   However, her 'official' solo debut came in May 2016 courtesy of her EP release entitled Skeletons - a musical journey detailing the emotional roller coaster of a relationship.
The Skeletons project leaves an incredible first impression impact on listeners of all ages, leaving many to believe 'sky is the limit' for SHAI-LYNN.
