HIDE GOD LIT:

1. When you are building or doing your spiritual work and get interrupted, but instead of finishing your work, you put it away and go to the chaos.

2. Similar to the BETTY ROSS LIT, where the female turns the Hulk (the god) back into Bruce Banner (a regular person), however in this circumstance, a man can turn a female god back into a regular woman.

3. Subconsciously, this comes from slaves hiding books when the slave master would approach. The slaves pretended like they didn't know how to read and would hide all their knowledge. The fear of displaying spirituality is still built into us til this very day.

There is also an embarrassment in the personal ceremonies that we practice, so we keep it private, instead of sharing it...out of fear.
