The Du Rag Lit

According to the Bastard Language the term derives from "do" as in "hair do". The purpose of the du rag is to get "waves" subtracting actual brain waves in the process. The du rag model is an avatar that can show you the difference between a good and bad du rag, a bad du rag is called a "don't rag".

This is the PERFECT du rag. Though the flap down look wasn't for everybody, you could either tie the flap or let it hang down as you see... the texture and string size is perfect, seam is perfect, the blackness is perfect. With this du rag you were ready for action.

This is an example of a du rag you DID NOT want to have. The strings are too wide and theres too much of a noticeable seam, also the texture is wrong. These usually cost more anyway and only came one in a pack. You really wanted to go to the Korean spot and get the two pack with the correct texture, string width, and seam.

Here are some other great examples of perfect du rags.

Now this du rag was 50/50... you could get away with it because the string width and back flap are the correct size. However, I can't stress enough the texture.

Du rags are worn in a variety of colors, with black being the most common. Also known as a "kufi".
